From the Artist:
When I was a child and I had difficulty sleeping, my mom told me to think of my favorite things and nothing else. At the time cotton candy and carousels were two of sweetest images I could conjure up. I learned that focusing on the positive allowed me to relax before sleeping. During a difficult time in 2014, I created a visual representation of these happy thoughts in and attempt to transmute my emotions. It didn’t work, but the act of painting served as a devise of comfort.
