A Painting of Charlie Sheen

At age ten I became an insomniac after we moved from Maryland to West Virginia. The adjustment was very difficult for me emotionally and at night when I couldn't sleep, I’d listen to headphones and look up at the Charlie Sheen poster hanging above my bed. I’d dream about another place, with other people, as a different person, and this is when I became adept at creating new characters with alternative identities. At night, I became a chameleon as I envisioned myself as the heroine of my own story. “Night dreaming” is at the root of my fascination with storytelling and has allowed me to adaptable and imaginative.
